Facial?

So Rory has cradle cap. The doctor suggested we use Selsun Blue to treat it. But, it looks like Rory is getting a forehead facial or he is some sort of alien. At least he loves bathtime!

Who's a happy baby?

16 weeks!

Rory was born 16 weeks ago- can you believe it?!?! We are amazed at our little guy and enjoy watching his sweet personality develop.

On Sunday, cousin Darren came over and the boys watched Sesame Street together.

Rory doesn't usually like tummy time (except at Gymboree), but he was almost enjoying it here.

But not here:

I'm on the charts!

Rory had his 3 month check-up this morning. He now weighs 11 lbs. 5 oz. (10th %ile) and is 24 inches in length (25-50th %ile). He is quickly catching up with his same age friends and is almost ready to be an offensive lineman for the Falcons!

I'm 3 months!

Rory started the new year by heading to day care. So far his reports have all been glowing. Of course, we wouldn't expect anything less from him.
Yesterday (when Daddy picked him up) all of the other infants were crying hysterically. Meanwhile, Rory was sitting happily (and quietly) in a bouncy chair looking around and wondering why his friends were upset.
The first 2 pictures are from Monday morning before we left for his first day at day care. Sorry the second one is off center- we were trying to get him to smile and take the picture at the same time. The third picture is of Rory with Miss Lisa on his first day. See how he already loves her?

As Grandpa Connell would say, "Give me an I, ..."

Rory donned his black and gold to cheer the Hawkeyes to victory in the Outback Bowl.

He's trying to say 'We're #1.' Well, Iowa may be the only Big Ten team to win a bowl game anyway.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Rory rang in 2009 in style with Mommy, Daddy, and the Robins family.

He even stayed up to see the ball drop in NYC and the peach drop in Atlanta!

Rory's new year resolutions are to gain weight and for the Falcons to win the Super Bowl.
